This section of my website pertains to me as an individual. There is only so much that a person can tell about
another person from their individual accolades, so I hope this page can give you a better understanding of who I am as a person.
In order
to give a fuller sense of myself as a person, here I list some of my interests and hobbies.
My greatest
hobby is sports. I am an avid supporter of Cleveland professional sports teams such as the Browns, Cavaliers,
and Indians. Like many Ohioan's, I am a passionate supporter of Ohio State athletics, especially Ohio State football. And of course, I am a loyal fan of Marquette University athletics, mainly the Golden Eagles Men's basketball team for
which I am a season ticket holder.
Although
I enjoy all sports, my favorite sport is soccer. The first time I touched a soccer ball was when I was four years old.
Ever since, not much time has been spent without a soccer ball at my feet.
My love for
the sport of soccer has led me into coaching youth soccer. For the past five years, I have worked as a coach
at the Kiko Dribbling Soccer School. There I coach soccer camps for boys and girls
ranging from ages five to nineteen. I have acted as a volunteer assistant coach during the summer for Avon Lake High School girls soccer team, and the Solon High School boys soccer team.
This past
summer, I passed a test to receive a National "D" coaching license from the Ohio Youth Soccer Association, a license
only given out to 20% of applicants. In the future, I will pursue a National "A" coaching license, and
hopefully, I will become a head varsity soccer coach one day.
Although sports is one of the greatest passions of
my life and consumes much of my time, there are many other activities which I enjoy. Weightlifting and running are hobbies that I
engage in on a consistent basis. I am also a frequent movie goer, and possess a movie collection that I hold
with great pride.
Although I have many interests and hobbies, I enjoy most
time spent with friends and family.
